The Sports Hub facility offers a FIFA-standard-size Soccer Field, and Basketball and Volleyball Courts that follow global sporting standards. Complete with locker halls, shower rooms and ample seating capacities—these facilities have already hosted top sporting events. The most notable of which was the very successful ALVEO Ironman 70.3 held last March 25 for which Azuela Cove was the proud venue host. The prestigious international sports event was the first one to be staged in Davao and in Mindanao where 1,782 participants across 39 countries competed in the 1.9- kilometer swim, 90-kilometer bike, 21-kilometer run competition. The success opened more doors for Davao as a preferred sports venue, and Azuela Cove will once again host the ALVEO Ironman 70.3 Davao this March 24, 2019.
Notably, Azuela Cove will soon be home to a first-class medical institution. For the very first time, St. Luke’s Medical Center will bring their trusted brand of world-class healthcare outside of Metro Manila and is targeted to ground break by last quarter of 2018. The 12-storey medical center which is pegged at around P6 billion to P7 billion will rise in the 1.1 hectare property of Azuela Cove and will have a 250 bed capacity.
Last May 12, 2018, another milestone was unveiled as Ayala Land Premier, the country’s foremost luxury developer, launched its flagship project in Davao: The Residences at Azuela Cove. This iconic two-tower residence will be located in the most prominent area within Azuela Cove, situated next to the waters, providing residents with an incomparable address and breathtaking views of Samal Island and the Davao Gulf.
